On Monday 24th August Maori Television will be showing a documentary called 'Helen's Story'.
It follows the story of a mother diagnosed with terminal cancer and provides a unique insight into the journey the family goes through and their faith throughout. The film is raw yet powerful and may be of benefit to those who have been through or are going through similar trials, or for those in pastoral care looking to understand something of the struggles involved in these situations. The documentary was produced by Paul Davidson, a member of The Wairau Valley Parish and is being used widely through New Zealand by Hospice. |
